UPDATE  5/21/2020 

Online Only Sunday Worship Services shall continue.  Use of the church building by any groups or individuals is not allowed until after Messiah's services of worship resume.   Our church office remains staffed during office hours, but our doors locked.  This is to keep our church space as Covid-19 free as possible prior to current restrictions being lifted.   Please read your MLC E-News to stay connected.

Give and Take Cart

Stop by the front entry porch of Messiah Lutheran Church. There are cloth face masks if you need one, hymnals to borrow for online worship,  devotionals, and a few other food and hygiene items.

Do you have any of the following items to donate?

bias tape

These items can be placed in the plastic donation box outside the door.   Please do not enter the church.

Celebrating MLC's 30th

Wednesday, May 20th is Messiah Lutheran Church’s 30th Anniversary!  To mark the occasion, during the online Sunday Service of Worship on May 24, members are asked to make “flat Stanleys” (cardboard self-portraits of themselves) They will be placed in the pews and recorded as part of the service.  All cardboard “flat Stanleys”/cutouts will need to be dropped off by Wednesday, May 20th  MLC church during business Instructions on how to make yours can be found here or by clicking on this panel.

Note: Once we are able to safely gather, an in-person celebration will likely be planned.

Worship

Gathering around God’s Word is central to the church community at Messiah. Services are mostly traditional, though contemporary settings and worship are offered.

Music

Music is a treasured gift from God. Messiah offers a range of music ministries for singers, musicians, and bell-ringers throughout the year for all ages. Rehearsal times vary.

Youth Programs

Faith enriching learning and fellowship activities for upper elementary (MOES), Junior, and Senior High Youth are offered throughout the year. Get your youth involved today.

Education

Sunday School builds a foundation for faith! Messiah offers Sunday School and Bible Studies for all ages as well as First Communion instruction and Confirmation classes.

Outreach and Mission

We are a community-facing church! Messiah members are active and engaged in outreach activities that respond to the real-life needs of our friends and neighbors, near and far.

Stewardship

Stewardship is more than annual pledge drives. It’s using the gifts of time, talent, and treasure, which God has given every one of us to be active in the Church body.

Fellowship

We enjoy being together! Messiah offers fellowship groups for men, women, young adults, seniors and more! Fellowship is an essential part of getting to know your church family!

Music Camp

Open to all children in the community, Messiah’s annual week-long music and drama summer camp will foster a love of singing and acting through learning and presenting an original musical based on the Bible.

Online Resources

Third-party online resources that support member giving, volunteer coordination and one very active church family!

Members can choose to automate their monthly contributions through an online, third-party payment service. The service allows members full management of their giving as needed.
“Sign-Up Genius” is an online, website tool we use to help coordinate volunteers for our Services of Worship, ministries, and other various other activities.
