On Sunday, March 19th, over one-hundred members and friends of Messiah Lutheran Church gathered to enjoy a traditional Irish Dinner of corned beef, roasted cabbage and roasted potatoes. The meal was sponsored by the Fellowship Committee. MLC member Greg Kilby organized and planned the dinner which featured 70 pounds of corned beef, 30 pounds of potatoes, 12 pounds of onions 7 heads of cabbage, 4 pounds of bacon, and 2 pounds of ham and over a gallon of mustard glaze. Kilby rallied a number of volunteers to aid in cooking and serving the meal.
Thank you to all the volunteers and everyone who brought side dishes, breads and desserts to complete the Irish Feast.
