Cappodocia is a magical place. What you do not see in these pictures are the insides of the homes and churches carved into these rock formations.
Did you know that 60 percent of the places named in the Bible are in modern day Turkey? These coming days we will be visiting communities where St. Paul served and later sent letters back to them which ended up in our Bible. In a two day period we will visit the locations of all seven of the churches in the book of Revelation.
This is all interesting and exciting! We are well and have had no safety concerns. Grace and peace.
