Messiah Lutheran Church offers a brand-new study for all members and guests called Everyday Questions, beginning October 8th during the Sunday School hour which runs 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
- Do you ever find yourself in a conversation where you feel you’d like to share your faith, but lack confidence in how to express it?
- How do you respond to someone who shares with you they are atheist, agnostic or no longer attending church?
- Do you know how to respond if someone asks you about the Christian faith?”
God calls us to be witnesses and to speak words of love and faith to one another, yet, how often do we find ourselves tongue-tied, struggling to find the right words when that moment arrives?
Everyday Questions is RZIM’s new, nine-week small group curriculum designed to equip Christians in evangelism. The video sessions are all less than thirty minutes and the accompanying discussion guides will lead your group in conversations about how to respond to people around you who are looking for answers.
Collaboratively developed with input from the senior pastor of a growing evangelical church, Everyday Questions will prepare your ministry’s small groups to faithfully love your neighbors and share the gospel in today’s complex and ever-changing world. The class will also periodically discuss the Lutheran perspective on many of the topics, with input from Pastor Scott Peterson.
Everyday Questions is open to all members, visitors or guests! It will be co-led by Gary Heideman, Bruce Machamer, Meredith Kilby.
No advance reading is required, however those who plan to attend regularly will benefit from a student guide book which are $12.00 a piece. A limited number will be available at the start of the class.
Please fill out this response survey if you would like attend or purchase the student book. You can also email Meredith at communications@mlutheran.org
